Jill Wiley is chair of the firm’s Estate Planning Practice Group and serves as the firm’s managing shareholder. Admitted to practice in 1995, she handles a broad array of matters involving trusts and estates. In addition to assisting clients with the preparation of complex estate plans, the administration of trusts and estates, and probate, Ms. Wiley’s practice includes representing clients in estate and trust litigation to prosecute and defend breach of fiduciary duty claims, will and trust contests, fiduciary tax issues and protect clients’ rights in trusts and estates. She also handles matters involving contested guardianship and conservatorships, and helps clients comply with ongoing judicial accounting requirements.
Ms. Wiley has advised numerous clients in forming and operating charitable foundations, and complying with federal and state statutes. A certified public accountant since 1987, she helps clients resolve complex tax issues and assists them with preparing fiduciary income tax, estate and gift tax returns. Ms. Wiley has earned an AV® rating – the highest rating – by the Martindale-Hubbell peer review system.
