This seminar explores legal aspects of trademark clearance, adoption and enforcement for pharmaceutical companies and biotech licensing firms. Issues addressed will include obtaining FDA approval, problems in worldwide enforcement, amending the technology license to include the trademark license, and review of pharmaceutical and biotech trade dress. Trademark considerations for the University Technology Transfer Office will also be reviewed.
