Mr. Itkin has represented lenders in the areas of secured and unsecured creditors’ remedies for over two decades. His clients include national, regional and local financial institutions as well as individual lenders and debt acquisition companies. His areas of practice include lien enforcement rights such as trustee’s sales, mortgage and tax lien foreclosures, forfeitures of contracts for sale of real property, as well as replevins, attachments, garnishments, agricultural liens, landlord liens and the defense of civil forfeiture actions.

With prior experience as a licensed real estate agent in Arizona, Mr. Itkin also provides representation in real estate transactions, landlord/tenant relationships, matters relating to easements, deed restrictions, and to homeowner and condominium associations.

Public Service
Steve actively volunteers his time for the community and his profession. He currently serves on the Board of the Arizona Creditor Bar Association, of which he is a founding member. He is a member of the Legislative Committees for both the Arizona Creditor Bar Association and the Arizona Trustee Association. Steve served on the board of directors for United Cerebral Palsy of Southern Arizona from 1995-2010 and on the board of directors for the Arizona Trustee Association from 2008-2010.

Mr. Itkin has also provided pro bono legal services and was recognized by the Volunteer Lawyers Program as one of several Pro Bono Attorneys of the Year in 2008.

Mr. Itkin also provides sponsorship and time volunteering for other local non profit groups including Big Brothers & Big Sisters of Tucson and The Tucson Organic Gardeners and serves on the board of directors for the Rio Cancion Homeowners Association.
